Course Information

 

The course is mainly related with cultural, political and economic structures of the “Third World” countries. Although the term “Third World” is not used often after the end of the Cold War, it is still a useful term categorizes developing or underdeveloped countries. We will mainly deal with common features of the current Third World countries and modernization and dependency approaches to them. In the case studies, main problematic issues and conflicts of the selected states will be examined in detail.
